Ride to Work 2011

September 27, 2011

If you’ve ever thought of riding to the Uni this is the day to give it a go as thousands of new riders will be dusting off their bikes all over Australia.

Ride to Work Day is a national event held every year to celebrate the use of a greener and healthier mode of transport – the bike!

We are encouraging new and existing cyclists to jump on their bikes and ride to campus on Wednesday October 12.

There is a free breakfast provided at the Forum and you can join one of two Bike Buses to meet up with other cyclists riding to Uni.

Register here and make sure you select the correct Address: The University of Newcastle, University Drive, Callaghan, NSW

(When you register you go into the running nationally to win prizes and it lets us know numbers for catering breakfast.)

Breakfast

Staff and students are invited to ride to uni and grab a free brekky!!

Nusport will be hosting a free breakfast for riders at the Callaghan campus: 8-9am at the Forum. Try to get there around 8am if you want some food!
